DANIELS FUND-SOUTHERN UTAH UNIVERSITY

This is an annual scholarship for full-time non-traditional students OR to military veterans who served active duty. You must be a Utah resident and a citizen/permanent resident of the US, eligible to receive a Pell Grant (FAFSA), and be in good academic standing (2.6 GPA). One letter of reference from a faculty member is also required for first-time applicants only. To reapply for the second year, students must have a minimum 2.8 GPA. Applications open April 15th and are due July 1 annually. All parts of the application MUST be submitted by the deadline (July 1, 2025) to be considered.

• Must be a full-time student

 

Applicants will be screened for eligibility and may be interviewed by a selection committee.

All Applicants: A Personal Narrative is required. On a separate paper please describe your educational goals and personal achievements, as well as any obstacles and hardships you have had to overcome in working to achieve your goals. Also please share information on your involvement with civic and other community activities and the role it plays in your life.

Disclaimer If a student receives the scholarship and no longer attends or falls below full time during one of the semesters for the given year, the student will be required to pay back the given amount for the semester the student will no longer be attending.
